The Pangasinan State University: An Introduction
The Pangasinan State University is a public non-sectarian, non-profit institution of tertiary and advance education principally supported by state funds. (PSU Code, 2001) Its mission is to provide advanced instruction in the arts, sciences, humanities, technology and other professional and technological fields, conduct scientific and technological studies, and undertake community services. (PSU Code, 2001)
The university’s vision is to become a dynamic, and productivity-driven institution of higher learning, recognized as a center of excellence in professional studies and technical training, with distinctive competence and leadership in research and community service. (PSU Code, 2001)
Eight campuses situated in different towns of the province constitute the university. These campuses are located the eastern, central and western areas of the province in the towns of Sta. Maria, Asingan, Urdaneta, Bayambang, San Carlos, Binmaley, Lingayen and Infanta.
